Campaigns & Activities

At Leonis Advisory we have successfully managed some of Australia's biggest and most controversial issues and run successful campaigns for organisations.

Royal Adelaide Hospital dispute

Spotless revealed to the market that it had lost $93.8 million on the contract for catering and cleaning services at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This amounted to a loss on the contract of around $6 million per month, plus penalties.

Working for Downer EDI, Sasha was able to help broker an agreement that included an increase in Spotless's monthly service fee and settled historical claims.

AWB Iraq dispute

To resolve a significant legacy issue, Sasha travelled to Aman, Jordan to negotiate a settlement of an outstanding commercial demurrage dispute with the Government of Iraq. Following an initial meeting with the Iraqi Grains Minister in Sydney, the parties agreed to meet in a neutral venue to resolve the dispute. Sasha was joined in Jordan by In-house legal counsel at a meeting facilitated by Austrade, and the parties were able to reach agreement on a settlement and for a Memorandum of Understanding for future grain trade.
